About Sip & Thrive - A Women's Monthly Gathering
Sip & Thrive is a monthly women’s event series designed to bring North County women together for real conversation, community, and connection. We sip wine, talk about the important topics women always want to discuss but rarely get the space for, and we leave each event feeling lighter, supported, and genuinely connected. From real estate and money to wellness and life transitions, each gathering blends approachable education with laughter, heart, and the kind of honest conversations women crave. Co-hosted by longtime real estate professionals and community builders Jennifer Chaney & Cindy Macango and proudly hosted inside Khara Collective, a SHE’s woman-owned creative studio. Sip & Thrive is a space where women can learn, grow, show up as themselves, and make new friends who feel like old ones. We meet monthly — and we love sprinkling in pop-up events, surprise workshops, and new ways to bring women together. Sip & Thrive was born from a simple desire: real, in-person connection. After years of living on Zoom, Cindy and I realized how much we missed genuine conversations, new friendships, and the kind of community that only happens when women gather in the same room, not just inside a Facebook group. As two longtime Realtors with 20+ years each serving North County San Diego, we’ve always believed that community is everything. We both live here in San Elijo Hills, and we wanted a space where local women could meet face-to-face, feel supported, learn from one another, and build relationships that go deeper than a comment thread. What started as a small idea quickly became a passion project, a way to bring women together, share wisdom, laugh, connect, and create something meaningful in the place we call home. Sip & Thrive is our love letter to this community and the incredible women who make it so special...:)
